Jakarta, March 24, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Prabowo Subianto presided over the inauguration ceremony of 31 distinguished figures and diplomats as ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia to foreign countries and international organizations. The event took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday.
The ambassadors were appointed under Presidential Decree Numbers 25/P and 40/P of 2025, concerning the appointment of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia. The decree was read by Nanik Purwanti, Deputy for Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of State Secretariat.
The ceremony commenced with the rendition of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya,” followed by the reading of the presidential decree. Subsequently, President Prabowo Subianto led the oath-taking, emphasizing loyalty to the 1945 Constitution and dedication to the nation and state.
Among the 31 ambassadors appointed, 25 have a diplomatic background, while the remaining six are non-diplomats, including a former Constitutional Court judge, a professor, a former Air Force chief of staff, a retired Indonesian Army personnel, a politician, and a member of the House of Representatives.

2. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin as the Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan;
3. Dicky Komar as the Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon;
4. Agus Priyono as the Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname as well as the Cooperative Republic of Guyana;
5. Andreano Erwin as the Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia as well as Montenegro;
6. Hersindaru Arwityo Ibnu Wiwoho Wahyutomo as the Ambassador to the Republic of Finland and the Republic of Estonia;
7. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Latvia;
8. Fikry Cassidy as the Ambassador to Bolivarian Venezuela, along with the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines, as well as the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago;
9. Hendra Halim as the Ambassador to the Republic of Panama as well as the Republic of Honduras, the Republic of Costa Rica, and the Republic of Nicaragua;
10. Tyas Baskoro Her Witjaksono Adji as the Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Uruguay, the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), and the United Nations Human Settlement Program (UN-HABITAT);
11. Mirza Nurhidayat as the Ambassador to the Republic of Namibia and the Republic of Angola;

13. Siti Nugraha Mauludiah as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Lithuania;

18. Listiana Operananta as the Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Albania, and the Republic of North Macedonia;
19. Manahan M. P. Sitompul as the Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina;
20. Rolliansyah Soemirat as the Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as Turkmenistan;
21. Kartika Candra Negara as the Ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique and the Republic of Malawi;

Bambang Suharto as the Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, the Republic of Burkina Faso, the Republic of Ghana,the Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Liberia, the Republic of Niger, the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, the Republic of Togo, and ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States);
23. Muhsin Syihab as the Ambassador to Canada and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO);
24. Simon Djatmoko Irwantoro Soekarno as the Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba, besides the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Haiti, and Jamaica;
25. Susi Marleny Bachsin as the Ambassador to the Republic of Portugal;
26. Air Marshal (retd.) Yuyu Sutisna as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania;
27. Arief Hidayat as the Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Republic of Zambia;
28. Didik Eko Pujianto as the Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq;
29. Rina Prihtyasmiarsi as the Ambassador to the Czech Republic;
30. Vedi Kurnia Buana as the Ambassador to the Republic of Chile;
31. Faizal Chery Sidharta as the Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti, the State of Eritrea, and the African Union.
The ceremony concluded with the signing of the minutes by the newly appointed ambassadors, witnessed by the President. This strategic appointment aims to strengthen Indonesia’s diplomatic presence and cooperation with various countries and international organizations.
