Khankendi, May 12, 2026 – The Europe Today: The WUF13 Roadshow in Khankendi concluded on 10 May with a public outreach programme designed to raise awareness of the upcoming thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) among local residents and visitors.
The event was attended by Sabuhi Gahramanov, along with other senior officials and members of the public.
Organised as part of preparations for the World Urban Forum 13, the programme featured a wide range of interactive activities, including educational games, presentations, and public discussions aimed at promoting key themes such as sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environments, innovative urban solutions, and the future of cities.
The initiative attracted significant public engagement, with around 8,000 participants gathering at Victory Square. The interactive segment included competitions based on questions related to WUF13 and broader urban development topics, with prizes awarded to participants who provided correct answers.
Organisers stated that the roadshow served as an important platform for increasing public understanding of urban challenges and opportunities, while encouraging community participation in discussions on sustainable and future-oriented city development ahead of WUF13.
