Islamabad, July 11, 2026 – The Europe Today: Danish Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Ms. Maja Ferrous Mortensen visited the Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, where she commended the creativity, innovation, and dedication of students presenting their work for Fashion Show Season 5 – Cultural Colors.
During her visit, Ambassador Mortensen viewed collections inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Rang-e-Balochistan and the Animal Kingdom theme, featuring artistic interpretations of the national birds and national animals of various European countries through contemporary fashion design.
The event was also attended by Syed Usman Tahir, Advisor to the Federal Minister for the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, who praised the students for their commitment to preserving and promoting culture through art and fashion. He encouraged the young designers to continue using creative expression as a means of showcasing Pakistan’s cultural diversity and strengthening international understanding.
The visit highlighted the importance of fostering artistic talent and enhancing cultural exchange between Pakistan and the international community. Institute officials expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests for their encouragement and support in nurturing emerging creative professionals and promoting international cultural collaboration.
