Dushanbe, August 30, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon has sent a message of condolences to President of Nepal Ram Chandra Paudel following the loss of lives and extensive damage caused by landslides and floods in northeastern districts of Nepal.
In his message, dated August 29, President Rahmon said the news of the numerous casualties, injuries and destruction caused by the natural disasters had caused deep sorrow.
Expressing solidarity with the people of Nepal, Rahmon conveyed his sincere condolences to President Paudel, the families and relatives of those who lost their lives, and the people of Nepal.
The Tajik President also wished a speedy and full recovery to all those injured and affected by the devastating natural disasters.
