Islamabad, November 5, 2024 – The Europe Today: Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Pakistan late Monday night for a two-day official visit aimed at consultations with Pakistan’s leadership on Middle Eastern issues and enhancing bilateral relations. He was received at the airport by Additional Foreign Secretary (Afghanistan and West Asia) Ambassador Ahmed Naseem Warraich, according to a Foreign Office press release.
During his visit, Foreign Minister Araghchi will engage in meetings with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The visit presents a crucial opportunity for advancing cooperation and dialogue between Pakistan and Iran across various sectors, including trade, energy, and security.
