Baku, March 10, 2025 – The Europe Today: During the official visit of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Speaker, Sahiba Gafarova, to Georgia, a significant step was taken to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries’ legislative bodies. On Monday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the legislative authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The MoU was formalized by Speaker Gafarova and Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia. The agreement aims to foster deeper relations and enhance cooperation between the two nations’ parliamentary institutions.
This agreement is seen as a milestone in promoting collaboration in various legislative areas, marking a new chapter in the diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
