Baku, July 06, 2025 – The Europe Today: Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on Saturday for an official visit aimed at strengthening parliamentary and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Speaker was warmly received by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Musa Guliyev, Head of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Interparliamentary Working Group Kamaladdin Gafarov, and other senior Azerbaijani officials. The airport was adorned with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, symbolizing the close and brotherly ties between the two nations.
During his visit, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is scheduled to hold a series of high-level meetings with Azerbaijani officials and parliamentarians. The discussions will focus on enhancing interparliamentary collaboration and expanding bilateral relations across various fields of mutual interest.
The visit reaffirms the longstanding friendship and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, underscoring the shared commitment to further deepening cooperation in political, economic, and cultural spheres.
