Baku, July 09, 2025 – The Europe Today: Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, held a meeting on July 8 with a high-level delegation from Pakistan led by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides lauded the strong and dynamic nature of Azerbaijan–Pakistan relations, which are firmly rooted in mutual trust, respect, and consistent high-level political dialogue.
Highlighting the strategic importance of parliamentary diplomacy, the two parties underlined that the effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries had significantly contributed to the overall development of bilateral relations. They affirmed their shared commitment to further enhancing inter-parliamentary collaboration through regular exchanges and dialogue.
Prime Minister Asadov and Speaker Sadiq also reviewed prospects for expanding cooperation across various sectors, including trade, investment, energy, and education, while expressing readiness to explore new avenues of partnership. Other issues of mutual interest on the regional and international agenda were also discussed.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared desire of Azerbaijan and Pakistan to deepen their fraternal ties and promote comprehensive cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.
