Aghdam, September 14, 2025 — The Europe Today: The process of the Great Return to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan continues, with a new stage of resettlement launched on September 13.
A caravan comprising families who had previously been accommodated in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across Azerbaijan departed from Aghdam for Dashbulag village in the Khojaly district.
In this stage, the first 13 families, totaling 67 individuals, have been resettled in Dashbulag.
The initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to restore and repopulate territories liberated following the 2020 Patriotic War, ensuring that former internally displaced persons can return to their ancestral lands.
Authorities have emphasized that the resettlement program will continue in phases, with infrastructure and housing being restored to accommodate returning families.
