Baku, September 17, 2025 — The Europe Today: Azerbaijan participated for the first time in the traditional Tesselaar Tulip Festival held in Melbourne, Australia, marking a new milestone in promoting the country’s cultural heritage abroad.
The participation was made possible with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the organization of the Alliance of Azerbaijani Associations in Australia. Members of the Azerbaijani diaspora from different Australian cities actively took part in the event.
A special pavilion dedicated to Azerbaijan was set up at the festival, offering visitors a glimpse into the nation’s rich traditions. The program featured live performances of traditional music and dance, which drew considerable attention from festival-goers.
Spectators were particularly impressed by the dynamic performances of the “AYTAY” band and the “ADENA” dance ensemble, whose vibrant presentations left lasting impressions and highlighted the diversity of Azerbaijani culture.
