Passing Out Parade Held at PAF Airmen Academy, Korangi

Korangi, December 19, 2025 – The Europe Today: Passing Out Parade of Trainees, Entries No 2306, 2406 and 2412 was held at PAF Airmen Academy, Korangi today. Air Marshal Kashif Qamar, Deputy President NASTP Advisory Board, Pakistan Air Force, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. On his arrival, the Chief Guest was received by Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Shahid Afzaal, Air Officer Commanding, PAF Airmen Academy, Korangi Creek. A total of 1155 trainees from PAF, Pakistan Navy and allied countries successfully completed their training.

While addressing the parade, the Chief Guest said that Pakistan Air Force is a highly professional organization and is internationally recognized as a combat-efficient force owing to its exemplary courage, operational preparedness and professional excellence. He highlighted that, in line with the vision of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, PAF Airmen Academy Korangi is imparting training aligned with the evolving dynamics of contemporary warfare to effectively meet future challenges. The Chief Guest further said that history bears witness to PAF’s consistent ability to rise to the expectations of the nation during times of trial through historic valour and unmatched professionalism. With the induction of modern aircraft and sophisticated air defence systems, PAF is counted among the leading Air Forces of the world. He underscored that the success of PAF in Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos against Indian transgression reflects the highest standards of operational preparedness and the resolute leadership of Chief of the Air Staff. He added that the effective employment of full-spectrum Multi Domain Operations—integrating space, cyber and electronic warfare alongside long-range precision assets and unmanned systems—highlights the necessity for harmonizing training and professionalism with contemporary warfare demands to produce competent and skilled airmen.

During the ceremony, trophies were awarded to high achievers. The prestigious Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for Overall Best Performance was claimed by Aircraftman Sergeant Ahmed Hussain Arif, setting the benchmark for all-round distinction. Asghar Khan Trophy for Best in Aeronautics was secured by Aircraftman Hamza Ali, while mastery in Aero Avionics Technology earned Aircraftman Sergeant Ahmed Hussain Arif the coveted Nur Khan Trophy. Demonstrating outstanding professionalism in core training, Academy Sergeant Aircraftman Shafaat Noor clinched the Air Officer Commanding Trophy for Best in General Service Training, whereas the Best Performance Trophy for the Foreign Trainee was proudly awarded to LAC THGND Herath of Sri Lanka.

The Chief Guest warmly congratulated the graduating trainees and their proud parents, extended his best wishes for success in their future assignments. He also paid rich tribute to the Academy’s instructional staff for their unwavering professionalism, commitment and dedication to excellence.
