Baku, February 7, 2026 – The Europe Today: An international online webinar on linguistics was organized under the framework of cooperation between the Foreign Languages Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the MetaWay organization.
The webinar was held with the objective of promoting academic exchange, fostering structured scholarly discussion, and encouraging future collaborative research partnerships. Researchers and specialists from various countries took part in the event, creating an international academic platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise.
During the webinar, participants delivered academic presentations on linguistics and related fields. Speakers shared insights into their research interests, academic backgrounds, and ongoing collaborative projects, while also presenting proposals for the preparation of co-authored scholarly publications.
The event contributed to the expansion of effective academic interaction and the strengthening of international research networks. The international scholarly journal Linguiverse served as the webinar’s academic publication support partner and was introduced as a potential platform for publishing the outcomes of future collaborative research.
Organizers noted that, as a continuation of this international cooperation, further joint academic initiatives and research-oriented events are planned in the future to deepen scholarly engagement and collaboration across borders.
