Haris Rauf Becomes Third Fastest Pakistani Bowler to Reach 100 ODI Wickets

Islamabad, March 15, 2026 – The Europe Today: Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf has achieved a major milestone in international cricket by becoming the third fastest Pakistani bowler to complete 100 wickets in One Day International (ODI) cricket.

Rauf reached the landmark during the second ODI match of the recent series against Bangladesh. The match marked the 55th ODI appearance of his career, in which he completed the century of wickets.

In the game, Haris Rauf delivered an impressive performance, taking three wickets for 23 runs in 4.3 overs, playing a key role for Pakistan.

Pakistan’s current captain Shaheen Shah Afridi holds the record for being the fastest Pakistani bowler to reach 100 ODI wickets, achieving the feat in just 51 matches.

Former Pakistan spinner Saqlein Mushtaq ranks second on the list, having completed his 100 ODI wickets in 53 matches.

Haris Rauf’s latest achievement further strengthens his reputation as one of Pakistan’s leading fast bowlers in international cricket.
