Baku, June 5, 2026 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s national minifootball team has been crowned European champion for the second time after securing a 2–0 victory over Ukraine in the final of the European Minifootball Championship held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Azerbaijan delivered a strong performance in the decisive match, with goals scored by Mirmehdi Rzayev and Isa Atayev sealing the win and confirming the team’s continental triumph.
The victory marks another major milestone for Azerbaijani minifootball, as the national team continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading sides in the sport.
