Baku, July 23, 2026 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov on Wednesday held talks with a delegation from Czechia’s Agrofert Group to discuss expanding bilateral business cooperation and exploring investment opportunities in key economic sectors.
The Czech delegation was led by Petr Cingr, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agrofert Group, one of Central Europe’s leading agro-industrial companies.
According to Minister Jabbarov, the meeting focused on the growing business relations between Azerbaijan and Czechia, Azerbaijan’s favourable investment climate, and prospects for strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
The two sides also exchanged views on expanding collaboration in the agri-industrial, chemical and energy sectors, identifying these areas as having significant potential for mutually beneficial partnerships.
The meeting reflected Azerbaijan’s continued efforts to attract foreign investment and deepen international economic cooperation by promoting partnerships with leading global companies across strategic industries.
