Bishkek, January 29, 2024, The Europe Today: In an official meeting held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov, and Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu engaged in discussions on enhancing and deepening multifaceted cooperation between the two nations. The talks also centered on the activation of trade and economic activities to further boost bilateral ties.
The leaders deliberated on current issues related to the development of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, with a particular emphasis on advancing collaborative efforts in trade and economic sectors. The meeting saw a proposal to consolidate efforts in realizing promising projects across various areas of bilateral cooperation.
President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of resolving any outstanding issues between the two brotherly nations. As part of his official visit, Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu also held talks with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubayev, during which it was announced that President Sadyr Zhaparov is scheduled to make an official visit to Kazakhstan, further solidifying the strong ties between the two Central Asian nations.
