Baku, September 8, 2026 – The Europe Today: Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on September 7, during which the two leaders discussed key issues concerning bilateral cooperation.
According to the Russian side, the presidents exchanged views on current matters related to economic, trade and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
The two leaders agreed to further intensify bilateral relations at various levels and continue efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two countries across areas of mutual interest.
