Ashgabat, September 18, 2026 – The Europe Today: A seminar titled “C5+1: Trusted Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization” was held in Ashgabat on September 15–16, bringing together representatives of government agencies from Central Asian countries and the United States, international specialised companies and experts.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the seminar focused on the development of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, cybersecurity and modern information and communications infrastructure.
Participants exchanged views on the introduction of advanced digital solutions and measures to ensure the security and resilience of digital infrastructure, including the protection of critical information infrastructure.
The discussions also covered the development and application of artificial intelligence, satellite communications and spectrum management, as well as the establishment and operation of data centres.
Particular attention was given to international cooperation and financing mechanisms for digital technology projects, with participants exploring opportunities to strengthen collaboration in the digital sector.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants exchanged experiences and discussed further areas of cooperation aimed at advancing digitalisation and promoting the secure and sustainable development of modern technologies.
