Islamabad, September 23, 2026 — The Europe Today: Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan Chandra W. Sukotjo received Mr. Jason Avancena, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Nestlé Pakistan, and Mr. Sheikh Waqar Ahmed, Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Nestlé Pakistan, for a courtesy call at the Embassy of Indonesia in Islamabad on September 18, 2026.
The meeting focused on bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Indonesia and Pakistan, with particular emphasis on strengthening business-to-business linkages and exploring new opportunities for private-sector collaboration.
The discussions also covered potential opportunities for Nestlé Pakistan’s milk and dairy products in the Indonesian market. The participants exchanged views on ways to facilitate greater commercial engagement and expand avenues for cooperation between businesses of the two countries.
The Embassy of Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating private-sector engagement and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening trade, investment and economic partnerships between Indonesia and Pakistan.
The meeting highlighted the importance of closer business ties in further promoting bilateral economic relations and creating new opportunities for companies and investors from both countries.
