Dushanbe, January 14, 2024, The Europe Today: The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan orchestrated a significant event in Dushanbe, featuring the presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s inaugural book, titled “Youth is the Support of the Motherland.” Concurrently, a round table dedicated to the 2024 motto, “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” took place, according to the report by “Turkmenistan: The Golden Age” publication.
The occasion witnessed participation from representatives of the Tajikistan-Turkmenistan Friendship Society, the Turkmen diaspora in Tajikistan, and students from Turkmenistan. During the event, speakers highlighted the book’s significance in shaping the patriotic ethos among the younger generation of Turkmen citizens.
The round table discussions delved into the profound importance of declaring 2024 in Turkmenistan as the Year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” marking the 300th anniversary of the birth of the esteemed Turkmen poet and thinker. The events planned for this year aim to honor Magtymguly Fragi’s extraordinary talent and underscore his paramount role in shaping global culture.
