Ashgabat, January 15, 2024, The Europe Today: In a formal diplomatic rendezvous, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Serdar Muhammetdurdiyev, engaged in discussions with Kyrgyz Republic’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Azizbek Madmarov. The meeting, centered on forthcoming high-level visits, showcased both parties’ contentment with the positive dynamics of their bilateral ties.
According to the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, the diplomats expressed their commitment to expanding comprehensive cooperation, highlighting the pivotal role of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Humanitarian Cooperation in advancing economic partnerships.
Muhammetdurdiyev and Madmarov underscored the importance of convening the upcoming Sixth Session of the Commission to actualize previously agreed-upon commitments. The meeting delved into collaborative prospects in energy, transportation, and logistics sectors, as well as cultural and humanitarian areas.
Concluding the discussions, both officials reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying bilateral relations, emphasizing the significance of maintaining regular contacts to further enhance diplomatic ties.
