Mexico City, June 23, 2024, The Europe Today: The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Mexican States, Timur Primbetov, officially presented his credentials to Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador in a ceremony held at the National Palace, according to the Kazakh media.
In a brief conversation following the presentation, Ambassador Primbetov informed President Lopez Obrador about the significant political and socio-economic reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. These reforms are aimed at achieving comprehensive and fundamental modernization of the state and society in Kazakhstan.
President Lopez Obrador expressed strong interest in enhancing Mexican-Kazakh cooperation across various sectors of bilateral interaction and on the international stage. He also announced plans to establish a Mexican diplomatic mission in Astana, further solidifying the relationship between the two nations. The President extended his best wishes to Ambassador Primbetov for a successful tenure.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, Alicia Barcena Ibarra, underscoring the importance of the event in strengthening diplomatic ties between Mexico and Kazakhstan.
