Tehran, August 01, 2024, The Europe Today: Accoeding to NHC, The Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, led a solemn funeral prayer today for the Political Bureau Chief of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated by the Zionist regime in Tehran.
According to media reporter, the ceremony to bid farewell to Martyr Ismail Haniyeh commenced this morning (Thursday) at the University of Tehran.
Mourners, holding portraits of Haniyeh, gathered in and around the University of Tehran, where Ayatollah Khamenei offered prayers over the coffin of the Hamas chief and one of his bodyguards. The event drew a significant crowd, reflecting the deep sentiments and solidarity with the Palestinian cause among Iranians.
