Ashgabat, October 08, 2024 – The Europe Today: Leaders from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries are set to participate in the international forum titled “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations: The Foundation of Peace and Development.” The event, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the esteemed poet Magtymguly Pyragy, will take place on October 11 in Ashgabat.
According to official reports from Turkmen media on Tuesday, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh is scheduled for a state visit to Turkmenistan from October 10 to 13. During this visit, President Khürelsükh will engage in talks with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and meet with National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation on the international stage.
The forum will also host leaders of various international organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Turkic Council (TURKSOY), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and UNESCO.
The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, as well as at the Ýyldyz and Garagum hotels. Over 800 journalists from around the world are expected to attend, highlighting the international significance of the forum and its dedication to peace and development among nations and civilizations.
