Beijing, October 18, 2024 – The Europe Today: China’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 4.8 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2024, reaching approximately 94.97 trillion yuan (around 13.33 trillion U.S. dollars), according to the News Hub Consultants via National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Friday.
In the third quarter of 2024, the Chinese economy expanded by 4.6 percent year-on-year, demonstrating a steady growth trajectory despite global economic challenges. This data underscores the resilience of China’s economy as it continues to recover and expand amidst complex domestic and international conditions.
These figures are in line with government efforts to stabilize growth and promote sustainable development across key sectors of the economy.
