Vitebsk, November 30, 2024 – The Europe Today: The “We Are Doing One Thing!” project, part of the Marathon of Unity initiative, made its latest stop at the Vitebsk Fur Factory, a key enterprise within the Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company Marko Holding.
The event featured participation from the top leadership of Marko Holding, including Director General Nikolai Martynov, alongside heads of other affiliated enterprises. The gathering provided a platform for factory workers to engage directly with management, addressing questions about the future of their enterprises, advancements in manufacturing processes, and upcoming product innovations.
Focus on Collaboration and Innovation
Martynov highlighted the importance of direct interaction in fostering innovation. “We collaboratively develop our seasonal collections with input from our technologists. By teaming up, we can design and implement new finishing technologies next year. Face-to-face communication is much more productive than remote discussions, and it drives tangible results,” he stated.
50 Years of Excellence
As the Vitebsk Fur Factory approaches its 50th anniversary next year, Director Yelena Chebotareva reflected on its journey since joining Marko Holding 11 years ago. “This marked a turning point in our development. A major upgrade program allowed us to diversify our product range significantly,” she noted, emphasizing the role of joint projects within the holding in driving growth and innovation.
The initiative reinforces Marko Holding’s commitment to fostering teamwork and modernization, ensuring its enterprises remain competitive and aligned with market demands.
