Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Receives Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin

Tashkent, March 1, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received a high-level delegation from the Russian Federation on February 28, led by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The visiting delegation conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly in the construction industry and regional development. These discussions were held in the context of implementing the agreements reached during the Russian President’s state visit to Uzbekistan in May last year.

A key focus of the discussions was strengthening full-scale collaboration in the construction sector. Both countries emphasized the participation of their respective organizations and companies in designing and constructing infrastructure facilities, as well as the supply of building materials and equipment as part of ongoing socio-economic development programs.

Additionally, both parties underscored the significance of further experience exchange in key areas, including shared-equity construction, design, expertise, digitalization, and public procurement.
