Ashgabat, March 3, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan will hold the XII Turkmen-German Medical Forum in a digital format on April 7-8, focusing on advancements in pediatrics, oncology, and medical digitalization. The event, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan, aims to foster international collaboration and integrate modern healthcare technologies into medical practice.
The forum will take place at the International Scientific and Educational Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. It will bring together Turkmen medical professionals, faculty members, and students from the State Medical University of Turkmenistan, alongside professors from Germany’s Federal Ministry of Health and leading medical institutions. Key discussions will revolve around the implementation of digital technologies and intelligent analytical systems in medical treatment and research.
During a recent government meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Orazdurdyev provided an update on the preparations for the upcoming forum. He emphasized the significance of this collaboration in enhancing the healthcare sector through knowledge exchange and technological advancements.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed the country’s commitment to international cooperation in healthcare. He approved the forum’s organization, highlighting its importance in strengthening partnerships with Germany’s leading medical institutions. The President also instructed relevant officials to ensure a high standard of organization for the event.
