Islamabad, April 18, 2026 – The Europe Today: On April 17, 2026, His Excellency Khazar Farhadov held a meeting with Sohail Ashraf, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad, to discuss matters related to urban planning and bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on key aspects of urban development, with particular emphasis on architecture, sustainable city planning, and the ongoing beautification initiatives in Islamabad.
The discussions also covered preparations for the upcoming World Urban Forum 13, scheduled to be held in Baku. The two sides highlighted the importance of international collaboration and knowledge-sharing platforms in addressing modern urban challenges and promoting innovative city solutions.
The meeting reflects growing engagement between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the field of urban development and underscores the significance of strengthening cooperation through global forums such as WUF13.
