Baku, April 26, 2026 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan is set to roll out a nationwide roadshow in the lead-up to the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13, scheduled to take place in Baku from May 17 to 22, 2026, aimed at raising public awareness about the major international event.

The WUF13 Roadshow will commence in Baku on April 28 and will travel across several cities, including Sumgayit (April 29), Guba (April 30), Lankaran (May 2), Gabala (May 4), Sheki (May 5), Mingachevir (May 6), and Ganja (May 8), before concluding in Khankendi on May 10.

The programme will be conducted in two segments throughout the day. The first half will feature informational sessions hosted at universities in each city, focusing on the objectives and significance of the forum. The second half will consist of open-air public events designed to engage a wider audience.

Evening activities will include interactive sessions, educational games, presentations, and public discussions. These will highlight key themes such as sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environments, innovative urban solutions, and the future of cities. Participants will also gain deeper insight into the guiding principles and core agenda of WUF13.

Organizers have confirmed that participation in all roadshow events will be free of charge, encouraging broad public engagement ahead of the global forum.
