Shusha, May 2, 2026 – The Europe Today: Diplomatic corps representatives accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Government Services Center in Shusha, highlighting ongoing restoration and development efforts in the liberated territories.

Reconstruction and renovation works at the center commenced in May 2023. The Shusha City State Reserve Administration carried out comprehensive refurbishment of the former post office building and its surrounding area, which also includes the development of a large green zone.

The four-story Government Services Center now houses key public service institutions, including ASAN Khidmet and DOST Service centres, a Small and Medium Business House, as well as branches of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, which operate postal and communications services.

The facility was officially inaugurated on July 5, 2024, in a ceremony attended by President Ilham Aliyev.

During the visit, diplomats were briefed on the scope of reconstruction works and the integrated service model implemented at the centre, which aims to improve accessibility and efficiency of public services in the region.
