Baku Azerbaijan has continued the implementation of the “Great Return” program in line with the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, with a new group of families resettled in the city of Zangilan and the village of Shukurbeyli in the Jabrayil district.
According to official information, five families comprising 26 individuals were relocated to Zangilan city, while 107 families, totaling 453 individuals, were resettled in Shukurbeyli village in the Jabrayil District.
The latest relocation forms part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to restore and repopulate territories liberated after the conflict, improve living conditions, and facilitate the return of internally displaced persons to their ancestral homes.
The “Great Return” initiative remains a key component of the Azerbaijani government’s post-conflict reconstruction and regional development strategy.
