Baku, May 16, 2026 — The Europe Today: A post highlighting the participation of Ilham Aliyev in the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States has been shared on the Azerbaijani President’s official social media accounts.
In the message, President Aliyev emphasized the growing importance of unity and cooperation among Turkic nations, describing the Turkic world as a significant emerging geopolitical force in the 21st century.
“Dear friends, our family — the Turkic world — must transform into one of the influential geopolitical power centers of the 21st century. Azerbaijan will continue to spare no effort in strengthening the Organization of Turkic States,” the post stated.
The remarks reaffirm Azerbaijan’s commitment to deepening cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States and promoting greater political, economic, and cultural integration among member states.
