Lahore, July 28, 2026 – The Europe Today: A special art exhibition dedicated to the legacy of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro was held as part of a solidarity event with Cuba in Lahore, Pakistan, bringing together political activists, students, and supporters of international solidarity.
The event was jointly organized by the Mazdoor Kissan Party (MKP) and the Progressive Students Federation (PRSF) to express support for the Cuban people and celebrate the enduring ties of solidarity between progressive movements in Pakistan and Cuba.
The exhibition featured artworks depicting Fidel Castro’s life, leadership, and contributions to Cuba’s revolutionary history, highlighting themes of independence, social justice, and international solidarity. Participants viewed the collection as a tribute to Castro’s legacy and Cuba’s continued resilience.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of strengthening international solidarity and reaffirmed their support for the Cuban people. They also discussed Cuba’s historical role in advocating for sovereignty, social development, and cooperation among developing nations.
