Islamabad, August 14, 2026 — The Europe Today: Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people and Government of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
In a televised congratulatory address broadcast on Pakistan Television (PTV), the ambassador described it as a great honour to convey warm greetings to the brotherly people of Pakistan on their national day.
The ambassador highlighted the deep-rooted historical, civilizational and cultural ties between Tajikistan and Pakistan, noting that the peoples of the two countries have maintained friendly relations and close bonds over the centuries.
He said Pakistan holds a special place in Tajikistan’s international relations, emphasizing that Tajikistan highly values the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.
The ambassador underscored the importance attached to further expanding mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and said that relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan are developing in a spirit of mutual trust and understanding.
He expressed confidence that the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries would continue to strengthen, further contributing to the prosperity and well-being of their respective peoples.
Conveying his best wishes to the people of Pakistan, the ambassador prayed for their good health, happiness and continued success.
He concluded his message by extending warm Independence Day greetings to the people of Pakistan and reaffirming the enduring friendship between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
