Moscow, September 21, 2026 – The Europe Today: The United Russia party is leading the Russian State Duma election with 57.86% of the vote, according to preliminary results released by the Central Election Commission after 90.43% of ballots had been counted.
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) is in second place with 13.84% of the vote, followed by the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) with 8.90%.
New People has secured 7.94%, while A Just Russia has received 4.95% of the vote, according to the commission’s data.
The figures remain preliminary as the counting and tabulation of ballots continue. Final results will be announced by the Central Election Commission after completion of the electoral process.
