Islamabad, December 14, 2024 – The Europe Today: Today, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, and had a meeting with His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan.
During the meeting, Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev appreciated the efforts of Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram in strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan and in boosting regional connectivity between Central Asia and South Asia.
The meeting also delved into the significance of bilateral academic, research, cultural, and trade cooperation to strengthen the ties between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. It was mutually recognized that such collaborations serve as pivotal elements in fortifying the relationship between the two countries.
Furthermore, the Ambassador acknowledged and commended the noteworthy contribution of Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram in enhancing academic research linkages and fostering people-to-people contacts between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram also presented his book titled “Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind” to H.E. Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev who remarked on the book’s valuable insights concerning the Belt and Road Initiative and regional connectivity.
