Islamabad, November 12, 2025 – The Europe Today: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has strongly condemned the inhumane and cowardly terrorist attack in Islamabad’s G-11 area that claimed the lives of 12 innocent civilians and left 36 others injured.
In his statement, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and denounced terrorism as an “ominous design of cowardly elements who seek to destabilize the region and obstruct its path toward sustainable development objectives.” He described terrorism as a chronic menace “imported and fueled by malicious machinations” that continues to threaten peace and security across the region.
The Iranian envoy emphasized that confronting this “ominous phenomenon” requires collective, determined, and united efforts by all countries to eradicate terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms, which have claimed countless innocent lives over the past decades.
“In this moment of grief, I extend my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the Government and the brotherly people of Pakistan, particularly to the families who have lost their loved ones,” Ambassador Amiri Moghadam said, praying for eternal peace for the departed souls and patience for the bereaved families.
