Tashkent, November 15, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan held talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, the Akorda press service reported on Saturday.
President Tokayev expressed gratitude to his Uzbek counterpart for the invitation to undertake a state visit, as well as for the warm welcome and traditional hospitality extended to the Kazakh delegation.
During their meeting, the two leaders discussed prospects for further developing the Kazakh-Uzbek strategic partnership and allied relations.
According to the official statement, the presidents reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation in key priority sectors, including trade, industrial collaboration, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, water resource management, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The two sides also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues, reaffirming their commitment to continued dialogue and close coordination.
