Zangilan, January 30, 2026 – The Europe Today: A total of 26 families, comprising 142 individuals, have been resettled in the village of Mammadbayli in Azerbaijan’s Zangilan district, receiving keys to their new homes in a ceremonial event.
The key handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and other government officials.
The initiative is part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to facilitate the return of displaced families to liberated territories, providing them with modern housing and essential infrastructure to support sustainable resettlement.
