Islamabad, August 14, 2026 — The Europe Today: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Atadjan Movlamov has extended heartfelt congratulations and warmest greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
In his message, the ambassador described it as a distinct honour and privilege to convey his greetings to the people of Pakistan on the auspicious occasion.
He noted that Pakistan had further strengthened its diplomatic standing through proactive international engagement, including its constructive role in facilitating a critical cease-fire and dialogue in Islamabad.
The ambassador also highlighted the longstanding friendship between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, describing the bilateral relationship as being rooted in mutual respect, shared cultural affinities and a common vision for peace and prosperity.
He expressed confidence that the partnership between the two countries would continue to deepen, contributing to the mutual benefit of their peoples and the prosperity of the region.
In his capacity as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador Movlamov also expressed sincere appreciation to the Government of Pakistan, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other state institutions, for their professionalism, courtesy and continued support extended to the diplomatic community.
He also conveyed gratitude to the people of Pakistan, Pakistani media and the business community for their generosity and hospitality, as well as for their valuable contribution to promoting dialogue and international cooperation.
The ambassador expressed hope that Pakistan’s Independence Day would usher in renewed peace, unity and prosperity for the country and bring health, happiness and well-being to all its citizens.
Concluding his message, Ambassador Movlamov conveyed his warm Independence Day greetings to all Pakistanis in Urdu, saying: “میری طرف سے تمام پاکستانیوں کو جشن آزادی مبارک ہو، پاکستان ترکمانستان دوستی زندہ باد” (Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis from me; long live Pakistan-Turkmenistan friendship).
