Tashkent, June 25, 2024, The Europe Today: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia visited the Technopark in Tashkent yesterday, as reported by Uzbek media.
The Technopark, a modern innovative complex, was established at the initiative of President Mirziyoyev to foster industrial cooperation and the production of high-tech products. According to the press service of the Uzbek head of state, the Technopark currently hosts 16 production sites, benefiting from over $365 million in direct investment.
During the visit, President Khurelsukh was introduced to a diverse array of high-tech products manufactured by Technopark enterprises. These products include household appliances, electronic meters, elevators, water pumps, industrial air conditioners, and cooling equipment. The showcased goods, produced under the supervision of leading foreign brands, have garnered significant demand in both domestic and international markets.
The visit underscored the importance of expanding cooperation between the leading enterprises of Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Both presidents highlighted the benefits of exchanging expertise and adopting advanced technologies to further enhance industrial capabilities and economic ties between the two nations.
