Astana, January 16, 2025 – The Europe Today: Air Astana has announced the addition of a new route to its destination list, with flights to Nha Trang, Vietnam, set to commence in the spring-summer season, according to media reports.
Starting March 30, flights from Almaty to Nha Trang will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights from Astana will begin on March 31, running on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The routes will be serviced by Airbus A321 LR aircraft, with flight durations of approximately eight hours from Almaty and eight hours and 40 minutes from Astana.
In addition to this new service, Air Astana will continue its direct flights from Almaty to Phu Quoc during the autumn-winter season, which were first launched last year.
Kazakhstani citizens can travel to Vietnam visa-free for up to 30 days, enhancing the appeal of these routes for leisure and business travelers alike.
This expansion aligns with Kazakhstan’s broader plans to enhance its aviation sector, including the introduction of new flights and the acquisition of additional aircraft by 2025.
