Astana, January 30, 2025 – The Europe Today: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kazakhstan, Mohamed Alariqi, as reported by the Foreign Ministry’s press service.
During the meeting, both sides discussed current issues of Kazakh-Emirati cooperation, particularly the dynamic growth of trade, economic, and investment ties. Foreign Minister Nurtleu emphasized that the UAE remains one of Kazakhstan’s key partners in the Middle East and highlighted the strong and trust-based dialogue between the leaders of both countries.
The officials positively assessed the outcomes of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s recent working visit to the UAE for Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
Special focus was placed on enhancing bilateral trade turnover and expanding transport and logistics cooperation. The steady increase in passenger traffic and the growing number of tourist exchanges between the two nations were welcomed.
Additionally, the parties discussed global issues and reaffirmed their commitment to active cooperation within international organizations.
