Moscow, March 5, 2025 – The Europe Today: Iran and Russia have reached an agreement to enhance aviation cooperation, with a focus on expanding Iran’s aviation industry exports to Russia. The agreement was concluded during a meeting between President of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, Hossein Pourfarzaneh, and Head of the Federal Agency for Air Transport of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Yadrov.
The Iranian delegation’s visit to Moscow aimed to strengthen bilateral collaboration in aviation, including the signing of an agreement on standards and flight qualification within the framework of the Iran-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
As part of the agreement, both sides have committed to accepting aviation standards, facilitating Iran’s expansion of technical and engineering services in the Russian market. The move is expected to bolster Iran’s presence in the aviation sector while reinforcing strategic ties between the two nations.
