Ahmadjon

Dushanbe, September 3, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, together with Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, inaugurated the Ahmadjon Service Centre in the Firdavsi district of the capital on September 2.

During the presentation, the President was informed that the facility was constructed with the contribution of domestic entrepreneur Mustafa Atobulloev on a total area of 11,000 square metres. The centre is designed to provide modern commercial, service and recreational facilities for residents and visitors of Dushanbe.

The Ahmadjon Service Centre comprises a complex of three- and four-storey buildings housing three dining establishments, a shopping centre, a restaurant with seating for 150 people, a children’s entertainment centre, an 18-room hotel, 12 offices and a conference hall.

The complex also features a modern parking facility equipped with necessary amenities, a billiards area, as well as sports and recreational facilities. These amenities are intended to provide comfortable opportunities for leisure and entertainment for residents and visitors.

Solar panels have been installed on the roof of the building to generate electricity and meet part of the centre’s energy requirements.

The facility is expected to create approximately 250 permanent jobs upon becoming fully operational.

The opening of modern service facilities such as the Ahmadjon Centre is expected to contribute to the development of domestic entrepreneurship, create new employment opportunities, improve the quality of services and further enhance the appearance and urban environment of Dushanbe.

During their continued visit, President Emomali Rahmon and Mayor Rustam Emomali also met with 151 orphaned children and presented them with holiday gifts.

Providing continuous support to vulnerable sections of society, particularly orphaned and children without parental care, remains an important component of the social policy of the Government of Tajikistan. The initiative reflects ongoing charitable measures aimed at supporting children and young people and creating favourable conditions for their education, development and well-being.

The Ahmadjon Service Centre was constructed on the left bank of the Dushanbe River as part of the extensive redevelopment of Abdulahad Kahhorov Street in the capital. The project is intended to contribute to transforming the area into a modern destination for recreation, leisure and walks for residents and visitors to Dushanbe.

On March 13, 2023, President Emomali Rahmon and Mayor Rustam Emomali laid the foundation stone for the extensive redevelopment of Abdulahad Kahhorov Street.

The newly inaugurated Ahmadjon Service Centre is among the first major facilities completed along the redeveloped route, featuring a modern architectural design and contributing to the ongoing development and beautification of the capital.
