Rabat, September 9, 2026 – The Europe Today: Morocco’s Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery has announced the marriage of Moulay Driss Filali, son of Princess Lalla Meryem, to Ahlam Oumha.
The marriage took place with the blessing of King Mohammed VI, according to an official statement issued by the Ministry.
Princess Lalla Meryem hosted a private family ceremony at her residence to mark the occasion.
Moulay Driss Filali, born in Rabat in 1988, is the grandson of the late King Hassan II and nephew of King Mohammed VI. He is a graduate of Al Akhawayn University and is a Moroccan businessman and entrepreneur overseeing investment ventures through his holding company, International Moroccan Conglomerate (IMC).
In its statement, the Ministry offered traditional royal prayers for King Mohammed VI, asking for the monarch’s protection, health, well-being and a long life, as well as continued happy occasions for the Royal Family.
The statement also extended prayers for Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Princess Lalla Khadija, Prince Moulay Rachid and all members of the Moroccan Royal Family.
