Dushanbe, September 21, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the Hayot Private Gymnasium in the Haydar Usmonov village of Bobojon Ghafurov District as part of his working visit to Sughd Region.
The educational institution was built by local entrepreneurs Abdulkhaliq Roziqov, Juraboy Azimov, Murodjon Juraev and Nozim Ibragimov to high standards and within a short period.
The new four-storey building comprises 45 classrooms and 41 auxiliary rooms and is designed to accommodate 1,200 students in a single shift.
The gymnasium includes specialised classrooms for music, handicrafts, physics, chemistry, biology and information technology. The modern facilities are intended to support contemporary teaching methods and encourage students’ interest in natural and exact sciences as well as emerging technologies.
During his visit, President Emomali Rahmon was informed that the institution also features a 500-seat assembly hall, a 200-seat dining facility and a modern library.
The auxiliary facilities are designed to provide appropriate conditions for educational and cultural activities and facilitate wider access to educational and literary resources.
The opening of the gymnasium has also created 70 permanent jobs for local residents.
The inauguration of the Hayot Private Gymnasium in Bobojon Ghafurov District was described as an important development initiative carried out as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s State Independence. The project is expected to strengthen the material and technical infrastructure of the education sector and provide students with improved conditions for learning.
