Dushanbe, September 23, 2026 — The Europe Today: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon has sent a congratulatory telegram to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin following the successful conduct of elections to the State Duma.
In his message, President Rahmon described the elections as an important event in the socio-political life of Russia and conveyed his sincere congratulations to President Putin on their successful completion.
Rahmon noted that the active participation of citizens in the voting process and the election results reflected, in his view, broad public support for the state policy pursued by the Russian leadership, which is aimed at ensuring sustainable socio-economic development in the Russian Federation and improving the well-being of its population.
The Tajik President also reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining and further developing the high level of multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia in a spirit of friendship and strategic partnership.
In his message, Rahmon wished President Putin continued good health and further success in serving the interests of the Russian people, as well as peace, prosperity and continued progress for the people of Russia.
