Beijing, May 31, 2024, The Europe Today: Chinese President Xi Jinping has underscored the importance of the all-round development of children in a reply letter to students from Zhijiang Primary School in Sichuan Province. In his letter dated Thursday, Xi, who is also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, encouraged the students to be self-reliant and aspirational, fostering a love for their country and the Party.
Xi extended his greetings to children across the nation on the occasion of International Children’s Day, expressing his delight at the positive reports on the students’ studies and lives. “Children are the future of our country,” Xi emphasized, urging them to “become the talent capable of shouldering the mission of building a strong country and realizing national rejuvenation.”
